Walker Powell

Walker Powell was an occupational therapist in home health for over twenty years, and he’s seen both sides of the healthcare challenge/model. He’s been on the provider side and the caregiver, negotiating the day-in and out needs that patients have.

After spending sixteen years living as a caregiver, Powell understood how important in-home care was. Because of his job, he found care through professional sitter companies and through relationships he’d cultivated. But, it’s not always this easy for everyone else. This is why A Caring Hand at Home brings in a team to help not only the patients but the patients’ families who are caring for them 24/7.
